Levi Jackson and Adam Bateman En Plein Air

 

Levi Jackson and Adam Bateman have developed a collaborative project in which they explore the trope of plein air painting.  The exhibition includes 60 paintings made as a performance en plein air and framed traditionally in ornate gold frames.  The paintings are to be viewed as a record of the performance of the act of painting them outside in winter landscapes.
